Washington Dirtbags BBC exists to give local players structured baseball with real coach accountability — not trophies, not promises.

/ Where it started

A gap in Duvall nobody else was filling.

In 2024, a group of local coaches and parents recognized that families in the Duvall area had no nearby program that paired competitive baseball with honest mentorship.

We didn't build this to win a banner. We built it so kids in this community have somewhere to learn what discipline actually feels like — on a real field, in real games.

We measure success three years out.

Player growth is tracked, not assumed. Every coach signs on to the same mentorship standard — the same expectation that a kid who struggles in year one has a coach watching in year three.

Fifteen years coaching youth ball in the Pacific Northwest. Holds every player to the same standard he set on his first day: show up, pay attention, own your mistakes.

Former collegiate pitcher focused on mechanics and mental reset. Teaches players that a bad inning is data, not a verdict.

Runs every defensive rep with purpose. If a player can't explain the decision behind a throw, they run it again.
